About Me
Hello! I’m Lexen, also known as Sæli. I am a second-year student at Republic Polytechnic, pursuing a Diploma in Sonic Arts. Since I was young, I’ve had a strong interest in the arts because of how expressive and entertaining they are. As I grew older, I found myself increasingly drawn to music, which led me to take on school projects and eventually create my own songs.
In secondary school, I joined the concert band CCA to deepen my understanding of music and grow as a musician by surrounding myself with like-minded individuals. Although it was a challenging journey, I pushed through and learned both the trombone and trumpet, two brass instruments I’m proud to have mastered. During my time in band, I met many new friends who I now collaborate with on projects such as my music group Creative and my voice-acting project Out of the BLU.
After graduating from secondary school, I joined Republic Polytechnic to learn more about how the music industry works behind the scenes. My start was rocky, as I struggled to adapt to a new environment and workload. However, with the support of my friends and lecturers, I was able to find my footing and eventually achieve more than I expected.
In 2023, I founded my Virtual Streaming group, which has gone through various changes over time. After resolving conflicts and restructuring the team, we now have a fresh start with dedicated members. We are currently preparing to release our debut EP, CYNK: Frequency 01, consisting of six songs: “Frequency,” “Take Me Where We Go,” “OMG,” “Diablo,” “K.Y.S (Keep Yourself Safe),” and “Wired.”
On top of my music and production work, I also create art and design assets for friends and collaborative projects.
“Music is life and life is music.”
